N2  - Gomphrena is an annual bedding plant that grows 30-60 cm tall with a spread of about 30 cm. In this study which was carried under field conditions we used two doses (5kg N/da, 10kg N/da) of mineral fertilizer (NH4NO3 ), one dose (10 kg N/da) of an organic fertilizer (commercial name is Ecoflora-contains 2.33% of Nitrogen). There was a control plot as well. Present study aimed effects of different fertilizers on the growth of Gomphrena globosa. Fertilization was applied to root level before plants transplanted to the soil. Leaf samples taken for mineral elements (N, P, K and micro elements -Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu) analysis one month after sowing and at harvesting time. At the end of growth period plants were harvested for destructive measurements (fresh weight –g plant-1 and dry weight –g plant-1)
