N2  - This descriptive study was conducted to examine the issue of time management self-assessment of the nurses who are working at internal and intensive care in a university hospital. Totally, 1013 nurses are used for the research universe including 283 nurses for sample in clinical and surgical care. All the research data gathered from “Information Form” and “Nurses in Time Management Questionnaire” which is created by the researchers. Total data was evaluated by percentage and chi-square analysis. It was found that; the nurses who joined the survey in 26-30 age group (%34,6), majority of these group take about time management (%71,7) and most loss of time was contacting with the patient relatives. It confirmed that the educational status , working hours and satisfaction of the job are the effective factors for time management of nurses.
