N2  - Stone quarry minings are generally make true production operations by drillingblasting method. In this method, determining of the suitable drilling-blasting parameters are very important for blasting productivity. Determination of these parameters are mainly affected by rock and explosive material properties, and blasting system. The geology of mine, the discontinuty structure, physical and mechanical properties of the rock, the selection of explosive material according to these properties, hole geometry and blasting system are very important foran effective blasting design.For this purpose, Ercan Stone quarry open-pit mining company located on BalıkesirBursahighway has been studied to determine the suitable working conditions andevaluate the data obtained by comparing these parameters. The suitable drillingblastingparameters have been determined by obtaining the related data from both landand laboratory works.
