The highest COD removal was achieved as 18% when UV light assisted heterogeneous Fenton-like oxidation was applied to PTA manufacturing wastewater in the presence of 5 wt% iron containing TiO <sub>2 </sub> catalyst. This combined advanced oxidation process seems to be a promising one to enhance the COD removal when it is used after biological treatment. </span> </p>}, number={2}, publisher={Eskisehir Technical University}
