N2  - Durations of the Turkish phonemes are investigated in this study usingthe high quality digital records of two adult male utterances. Threerecording types were used: reading of just one-word, reading of aphrase and reading of a sentence. The recordings were labelled bylooking at the changes of time-waveforms and formant frequencies.Durations of the Turkish phonemes and affecting factors on the durations are analyzed for both informants individually. Moreover,matching patterns between the duration of the phonemes produced bythe two informants are also observed.
