AB  - Bu çalışmada, 2003-2012 döneminde Türkiye’nin en fazla ticaret yaptığı toplam 25 ülke ile rekabet gücünün belirleyenleri incelenmiştir. İlk olarak imalat sanayi ürün grupları ihracatında öne çıkan sektörlerin dış piyasa talebiyle uyumlu mal üretebilme gücü ve ürün çeşitliği yönündeki durumu tespit edilmiştir. Daha sonra Türk imalat sanayi ISIC Rev.3 alt sektörleri için fiyat ve fiyat dışı rekabet faktörlerinin düşük, orta düşük ve orta yüksek, yüksek teknoloji düzeylerinde toplam 25 ülkedeki ihracat piyasa payına etkileri panel veri yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, Türk imalat sanayinin ihracat piyasa payı rekabetinin belirleyenleri farklı teknoloji düzeylerine göre değişmekle birlikte, fiyat faktörlerinin rekabet gücü sağlamada etkili olduğu gözlenmiştir. Ancak rekabet gücü elde etmede ticaret ortağı ülkelerin talep yapısına uyum göstermede yetersiz kaldığı ve piyasa payını olumsuz etkilediği saptanmıştır.

N2  - Thisstudy analyses the determinants of the competitiveness of Turkish manufacturingindustries vis-a-vis the 25 top trading partners for the period 2003-2012.Firstly, leading manufacturing industry export product groups are examined interms of ability to produce goods consistent with foreign market demand andproduct diversity. Then, for the Turkish manufacturing industry ISIC Rev 3 subsectors, the effect of price and non-price competition factors on the marketshares of low, medium low, medium high and high technology exports in the totalexports for 25 countries are analysed by using panel data methods. Our findingsshow that even though the determinants of the Turkish manufacturing industry'sexport market share competitiveness vary for different technology levels, pricefactors are more prominent in enhancing competitive power. However, it is alsoobserved that Turkey is inadequate in adapting to the demand structure oftrading partners for acquiring competitive power, and this has adverse effectson Turkey’s market share.
