Because each interaction is made through language. During this interaction, the sound characteristics of the words that passed from Turkish to Romanian were subjected to a change according to the grammar of the Romanian language. These words, which are derived from Turkish, were not modified at the phonic level only; changes in the meaning were also seen when they passed to Romanian. As a result of the semantic and phonic changes in these words, the process known as phono-semantic metamorphosis occurs. In the examples that we will analyze in this study, we will try to determine which sound events lead to phonosemantic metamorphosis.

}, number={53}, publisher={Istanbul University}
