Subsequently, lung biopsy and BAL (bronchoalveolar lavage) suggested idiopathic pulmonary hemosiderosis. Immunofluorescence stain of renal biopsy and serum assay for AGBMA (Anti glomeruli basal membrane antibody) was positive, although renal function and urinary sediment were normal.
