Sodyum benzoat, inkübasyonun 5. gününde üç ayrı dozda (250, 500, 1000 mg/kg) vitellusa enjekte edildi. Kontrol ve deney gruplarına ait embriyolar inkübasyonun 7. (safha 31) ve 10. günlerinde (safha 36) çıkarıldı, ağırlıkları tartıldı.
