N2  - Inthis study, we have theoretically investigated transmission properties of transverseelectric fields at visible region frequencies in one dimensional defectMetallic-Dielectric photonic crystals. We examined the effect of photoniccrystals thickness, layer numbers, layer refractive indexes and defects on transparency.We use OptiFDTD software for simulations. OptiFDTD software uses finite-differenttime-domain method.
