It is planned to use document review and content analysis methods in this paper. The paper’s data collection tools are religious education curriculums which are applied from the beginning of Republic period until today. It is thought to examine and evaluate these curriculums under two chapters as Pre-2000 and Post-2000 (20002010). In the curriculums prepared in the first period of Republic , different religions other than Islam were unmentioned. In the Republic period, the information related to different religions was first included the curriculum, which was prepared in 1956. However, different religions were handled in separate chapters for the first time within the curriculum, which was prepared in 1976. It can be seen that there is no separate chapters about it within Pre-2000 religious education curriculums. These interpretation differences can be seen for the first time in the curriculum, which was prepared in 2000. A further step has been taken with the 2005 curriculum by referring to Jafarism as well as four Sunni fiqh and applied sects. When Republic Period curriculums are examined in general, it can be inferred that the 2000 curriculum differentiates from others in the way of aiming to give a positive point of view of different religious understandings inside and outside the Islam by means of the topics and gains it includes}, number={Special Issue 1}, publisher={Mutlu TÜRKMEN}
