N2  - The aim of this study is to find out for what purpose Anatolian Hotel and Tourism Vocational High Schools are selected by the students, whether the reason for selection affects students’ expectations and assessments and whether the location of the schools has an influence on students’ expectations. The pattern of the study is descriptive and data were gathered through a 33-item questionnaire. Questionnaire forms were applied to the students by their class teachers. The population of the study is comprised of 18.217 students studying at Anatolian Hotel and Tourism Vocational High Schools. Since the whole population was aimed to be reached, no sample size was set and the number of the questionnaire analyzed turned out to be 8.707. According to the findings of the study, it was found out that there is a statistically significant relationship between the location of their schools and their assessments related to priority and expectations. Besides, it was also found out that their insufficient knowledge before enrollment increased relatively.
