N2  - Literature especially Children’s literature occupies important place at gaining true  value and behaviors of chhildren. One of poets and writers who discussed the true  values and behaviors in their works is Ibrahim Zeki Burdurlu. The values which are seen mostly in his works are affection, respect, sharing, honesty,  doing favors, having a good temper, faith, love, diligence, friendship, aesthetic,  benevolence, courage, patience, being thankful, forgiveness and apologize, frugality,  peace, work, protecting culture, cooperation, neighbourliness, equality, being  sensitive, responsibility and admiring. In this study, love values which had been given importance by him were emphasized. According to him children should get love subject to happy in their life. Therefore,  this can explain why Burdurlu placed emphasis on love subject in their works. In his works, he mentioned love subject as love of parents, country love, brother/sister love, animal love, nature love, earth love, child love, life love
