N2  - Konya had been the capital of Seljukians for long years and had been a significant center of cultur for centuries during Ottoman period. In our study on the poets, authors and minstrels of Konya we have composed more than a hundred names who belong to the period beginning with Tanzimat to the initial years of Republic. We introduce them with short biographies and some samples from their works. Most of these poets belong to the classical, national or mystical literature and just a few numbers of them bear the characteristics of the modern Turkish literature which has been established after Tanzimat period
