For they are combined with time, they are influnced by the expericences, thoughts of previous times This is valid for all human acts and all human products. It is imposible to evaluate a human product or a human act or any human work –no matter in which part of life it is conducted- without considering the time and the place in which it happened, and also without considering human experiences of old times. The condition is also the same for Turkish clasiccal literature. In the Turkish classical poetry all poets were influenced in many aspects by previous poets of their age. It can be said there is no exception for this. For this reason it is said that Turkish classical poets are immitators. Mawlana Jalal al-Din Rumi, Turkish prominent poet and mystic, was influnced by the poets of nations who lived before him as well as their thoughts and beliefs. So it is possible to find influences in his works from Arab, Persian and Indian cultures and traditions.
