N2  - A two year old, male, Husky breed, having a cut wound (abrasion) extending from interscapular regionto 3. lumbal vertebrae at dorsal side and to parasternal area bilaterally at distal side constituted the material of thisstudy. At the clinical examination purulent discharge, mortification of wound margins and dehydration were determined.Mortified tissues have been cleared after a medical treatment applied to the wound area for two weeks. On thefourth week, intact skin biopsy punched by a 3 mm diameter tool, planted on to the wounded area with punch graftmethod. During the postoperative period, the dressing has been changed every day for the first week, and everyother day in the second and third weeks. On the fourth week full epithelialization of the wounded area was observedand the patient was discharged. It is concluded that in large wounds, punch graft method can be used to assist secondaryhealing process.
