The existence ofrisk creates uncertainty and also the need for risk management and avoidance.This study aimed to explore the factors which affectthe working skills of academicians working at vocational schools of ErzincanUniversity and also to investigate the academicians’ perceptions and practicesof risk. The study was conducted with all the academicians working at thevocational schools of Erzincan University.  As a data collection tool, aquestionnaire developed by the researcher within the light of literature wasused in the study.  The questionnaire was given all academicians workingin vocational schools and 103 of them were evaluated for research. The datawere analysed with SPSS 22 program. Factor Analysis, T Test, CorrelationAnalyses and Anova Analyses were carried out in the study. Conclusion and suggestions have been presented forother related studies. According to reliability analysis, 12 of 40 variableswas eliminated and 28 variables was evaluated in factor analyses.
