For this reason, it is stated that accessibilityof disabled children to activities and services is very important in terms ofhelping to discover their existent maximum potential. Despite, since thesechildren are vulnerable to developmental risks, this groups are ignored in bothprograms in a worldwide and planned services extent. Especially in our country,it is emphasized that services delivered in this manner are old fashioned andinadequate and it needs a new approach to plan actions. Habilitation is definedas process for teaching new skills to discover and usage of maximum potential,today it is accepted as a different approach for childhood disabilities in manycountries around the world. In this review, the conceptual framework and itsimplementations and role and responsibilities of nurses for this new conceptwas tried to explained which foresees gaining new skills in childhooddisabilities, increasing participation in social life and participation offamilies in the teaching procedure.
