N2  - In this study, microbiological, physical, and chemicalcharacters of drinking water suppliedfrom city of Ercis were analyzed. Temperature, turbidity, conductivity, dissolvedoxygen, biological oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand, calcium, magnesium, total hardness, totalalkalinity, free chloride, carbonate, bicarbonate, nitrite, nitrate, ammonia, phosphorus, zinc, copper, nickel,cobalt, cyanide, fluoride, aluminum, iron,potassium, manganese, molybdenum, silicon and microbiological parameters were analyzedin the laboratory. The results were evaluated according to “Turkish Regulationof Surface Water Quality Management, Turkish Water Pollution ControlRegulations, TS 266, Turkish Regulation on Water Intended for HumanConsumption.”
