Bu bağlamda, insan haklarının evrensellik iddiası vebu iddianın nasıl üçüncü dünyayı Batı standartları üzerinden disipline ettiğiçalışmanın temel konusudur. Söz konusu argümanı somutlaştırmak doğrultusundaise ABD’nin Afganistan işgalinde genelde insan hakları özelde ise kadın haklarısöyleminin nasıl devreye sokulduğuna yakından bakılacaktır.
