N2  - Many optimizationtechniques which are inspired by the nature are used in optimization problems.Genetic Algorithms (GA) is an optimization algorithm, tries to mimic thenatural process of livings. Allowing to survive better generation thereforeinheriting the better qualifications to next generations. In this study geneticalgorithm is used to find the optimal cost for a software project. In order toevaluate results of the genetic algorithm, a test system based on linearprogramming is established. The results indicates that designed geneticalgorithm optimization model successfully calculated the cost of softwareproject very close to deterministic costs.
