The research, was obtained by questionnaire through face toface interviews with 82 fishermen in the Keban Dam Lake. As a result of study,fishermen has been identified between 25 to 69 in age in the region and that67.07% of them are primary school graduates, 18.29%, are secondary schoolgraduates 10.98% are high school graduates 3.66% are fisherman who do not go toschool. It has been confirmed that 95.12% of fishermen are married, 4.88% ofthem are single and the number of children varied between 1and 7, 25% of themarried fisherman have’nt got children. It has been stated that 22% offisherman the civil servants, 1.22% the retirees, 66% the tradesman, to befishing the main occupation of 91.46%. The reasons selection fisheries of thefishermen are found that 24.39% father's occupation, 67.07% of them due to theunemployment, 8.54% of them addition income. The income average monthly offishermen has been found 0-499 to 15.85% 500-749to 21.95%, ₺750-999 to 31.71%, 1000-1499to 30.49%.
