Çanakkalekoşullarında yapılan bu çalışmada, tüm sulama konularına 4 günde bir A sınıfıbuharlaşma kabından meydana gelen buharlaşma miktarına göre sulama suyuuygulanmıştır. Denemede 4 farklı sulama düzeyioluşturulmuştur. Bunlar sırasıyla; bitkiyi su stresine sokmayacak tam sulama (I1.0), vediğer stres konuları da tam sulama konusunda uygulanan suyun %70’i (I0.7, ortastres) , %30’u ve %0’nın (I0.3veI0.0 ağır stres) uygulandığı sulamakonularıdır. Denemesonucunda, brokoli (Brassica oleracea L.cv. Beaumont )bitkisi su ihtiyacınıntam karşılandığı sulama konusunda (I1.0, 361mm) en yüksek verim ve kalite değerlerine ulaştığı görülmüştür.Brokoli bitkisinin yetiştirildiği alanda su kısıtının olması durumunda, %30’luksu tasarrufunu yapılarak (I0.7 , 253 mm) ekonomik oranda verim eldeedilebileceği, ancak su stresinin %30’un üzerine çıkması durumunda verim ve özellikle kalitede önemli kayıpların olabileceği belirlenmiştir.
