AB  - Bu araştırmada,üniversite öğrencilerinin kopyaya yönelik görüşlerinin belirlenmesi, bugörüşler doğrultusunda öğrencileri kopyaya iten nedenlerin ortaya çıkarılmasıve bu davranışın nasıl engelleneceği sorusuna cevap bulunması amaçlanmıştır. Buamaçla; kopyaya sebep olan- kopyanınsebep olduğu durumlar ve kopyaya karşı alınabilecek önlemler incelenmiştir.Nitel olarak desenlenen bu çalışma, bir olgubilim çalışmasıdır. Katılımcılar,bir devlet üniversitesinin matematik öğretmenliği bölümünde öğrenim görenöğrencilerden oluşan 3 kişi olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada asıl veri toplamaaracı olarak görüşme formu yaklaşımı benimsenmiştir. Çalışmada gözlem,araştırmayaalınacak öğrencilerin bu davranışı gösterip göstermediğinin tespitiylegörüşmelere temel oluşturması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Görüşme formundaki sorular,açıklamaya yönelik sondalarla desteklenmiştir. Çalışma sonunda, kopyanın birsorun olarak algılandığı, kopya eğiliminin dersin türüne ve ders sorumlusunadeğiştiği ve kopya eğiliminin kişilik özelliklerine göre farklılık gösterdiği sonuçlarınaulaşılmıştır.

N2  - Thisstudy aims to determine university students’ views on cheating in exams, toreveal the reasons as to why they cheat in exams, and to find answers to howthis behaviour can be prevented. Designed as a qualitative study, this is aphenomology study. Participants were 3 students enrolled at the department ofmathematics education at a state university. The main data gathering tool inthe study is the interview form. Observation was used in order to form a basisfor the interviews so that it could be seen whether students to be taken intothe study exhibit this behavior or not. Questions in the interview form weresupported by probes for explanation. At the end of the study, students’perception of cheating was gather under two themes “Cheating according tostudents” and “Reasons for cheating”. The theme Cheating according to studentsconsists of “principle of equality, belief, acceptance of cheating” categories.The theme “Reasons for cheating” contains“caution, work load, change of situation” categories.
