While these pressures on natural resources are going on, various studies, on the other hand, are being done in order to conserve these resources, and projects are being produced on the permanent conservability of resources. These studies may help not only conservation, but also especially the psychological and physical relaxation of the urban man, in other words, they may also have an aspect of usage. Nowadays, it is possible to see some successful examples of greenway planning intended not to waste the open areas in the cities of western countries, to protect the ecological balances and create a livable environment. Greenway is the natural corridors, such as river banks, ridges or valleys, and linear corridors joining the canals along railway routes used for recreational purpose, scenic roads or parkways, as well as areas of natural reserve, cultural characteristics and historical places.
