The sufficiency ofacademic service is investigated and arrangements for improving teachingquality are made using these systems. In this study, an approach is proposed toinvestigate and report student perception-based evaluations together withacademic knowledgeactivities of instructors for teaching quality in BartınUniversity. This approach has three phases: i) Constituting teaching qualitydatabase, ii) Clustering study for this database, iii) Reporting the results usingMySQL-based server. In the first phase, database is constituted fromevaluations of instructors and their students in Bartın University. In thesecond, this database is classified using k-means algorithm and Silhouetteindex. Therewith, the database is separated into three clusters. Populationmeans of these clusters are significantly different. By discriminant analysis,the clustering has 100.0% validity-rate.
