AB  - The productionof wood based structural panel and lumber composites become to increase sincethe wood supply is changing due to the limit of larger dimension solid sawnlumber and insufficient solid woods with enough high strength as well. As wesubstitute wood composites for solid wood in protected application, thesecomposite must show resistance to wood-destroying organisms such as fungi andinsects. Accordingly, the exterior structural composites is required to betreated with preservatives. This paper provides an understanding ofpreservative treated wood composites. The objectives of this paper includesstudying how to add preservative to wood composites, examining additive effecton glue-line and evaluating the best method of manufacturing wood compositestreated with preservatives.

N2  - Son yıllarda kullanımında hızlı artışlar gözlenen odun kompozitlerinin kullanım yerlerine bağlı olarak (yonga ve lif levha, tabakalı ve lamine ağaç malzemeler vb.) odun tahripçisiorganizmalara karsı koruyucu kimyasal maddelerle emprenye edilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada; odun kompozitlerine koruyucu maddelerin nasıl ilave edileceğinin incelenmesi, buemprenye maddelerin tutkallamaya olan etkisinin araştırılması ve koruyucu kimyasal maddeler ile muamele edilen odun kompozitlerinin üretiminde en iyi yöntemin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
