Within the context, the effects of parameters such as stirrer speed, powder filling ratio, ball fillingratio and grinding aid dosage on product quantity (-5 µm %) were studied. Experiments were carried out using 24full factorial designs. The main and interaction effects were evaluated using Yates’ method. The stirrer speed,ball filling ratio and grinding aid dosage play distinct roles (positive) on product quantity (-5 µm %). Micronizedcalcite product with a product quantity (-5 µm) of 71.49%, a volumetric surface area of 3.63 m2/cm3and a meanparticle size (d50) of 2.15 µm were obtained in the optimum grinding conditions.
