This concept have always been important for the human being. The simplest ordering is according to a single criterion. When we start to think in terms of more than two criteria, performance calculation becomes a complex process. Various methods have been developed to overcome this complexity: Weghting, Factor Analysis and the others. In this study, a new technique, that overcomes this complexity above by means of the objective criteria, will be intoduced. It is called Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). DEA method is the one which calculates the productivity of each player relatively to the best ones according to the multiple Input/output variables. It is generally used to compare the efficiencies of the decision units related to the production process. In this study, this method is tested in an area, for example Turkey’s 1st Men’s Basketball League which is quite different from production process. In basketball, there are positive and negative effected variables that effect the players’ performances. In study, ordering and comparing have been made in an appropriate way by analysing both of this two kind of variables. The results are completely compatible with the league results. The result of EA must be taken into consideration by both of teams and players, especially in transfer periods. These results must/should be treated as a certificate/report.

}, number={1}, publisher={Gazi University}
