A questionnaire required to evaluate  the sample events related to fair play was applied to the research group as the tool of data collection. In order  to evaluate the data both describing statistic techniques and chi-square test were utilized and 0.05 was taken  as level of importance. The findings reveal that the majority of teacher trainees of physical education consider  the behaviors appropriate to Fair Play, such as "helping referee to make the right decision in terms of sex and  field even if his benefit and judgment are in the contradiction, making effort to cover the unfair situation which  opponent teams are exposed, not attempting to benefit from the unfair disadvantages of the opponents"  unprofessional. Also, it is obvious that they consider the behaviors which are not appropriate to fair play "taking  unfair advantage deceiving the referee and taking in hand the right of the opponent to play via misleading  strategies" clever as strategy. As a result, it may be concluded that the attitudes towards fair play of teacher  trainees of physical education are behind the perception of "winning at all costs". Considering this situation as  a serious threat to sport schools, it is mandatory that some precautions be taken to improve the perception of  fair play during their education. }, number={3}, publisher={Gazi University}
