N2  - Amaç:Kesitsel tipteki bu çalışmanın amacı, dişhekimliğiöğrencilerinin sosyoekonomik statülerinin ağız sağlıklarına olan etkisiniaraştırmaktır.Gereç ve Yöntemler:SelçukÜniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesinde öğrenim gören toplam 173 ikinci veüçüncü sınıf öğrencisi arasında kapsamlı bir sosyal, kültürel ve dişhekimliğideğerlendirme anketi hazırlanmış ve dağıtılmıştır. Oral sağlık durumu, ağızhijyeni bilgisi, protetik restorasyon prevalansı, öğrencilerin sosyal veekonomik durumu değerlendirilmiştir. Kasaba ve ilçelerdeki öğrencilerinrestorasyon prevalansı şehirlerden gelen öğrencilerin restorasyon prevelansıile karşılaştırılmıştır. Anket, sabit protez, implant destekli restorasyonlar,laminat kaplamalar, inley-onley restorasyonlar ve gece plakları gibi değişik protetiktedavileri türlerini içermektedir. Dolgu ile restore edilmiş dişler ve eksikdişler de değerlendirilmiştir. Son olarak, çalışmanın verileri Pearson Ki-Karetesti kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.Bulgular:Eldeedilen sonuçlara göre sadece 11 öğrencinin protetik restorasyonu bulunmaktadır.117 öğrencinin dişlerinde dolgu tespit edilmiştir.Ailelerinin gelirleri yüksek olan veyaüniversiteden önceki yaşantısını şehirde sürdüren öğrencilerin dolgu sıklığıdaha düşük olarak bulunmuştur. Buna ek olarak, 67 öğrencide dişhekimi korkusuolduğu tespit edilmiştir.Sonuçlar:Ağız sağlığı birçok faktörün etkisialtındadır. Bu çalışmanın sonuçlarına dayanarak sosyoekonomik durumun dişhekimliği öğrencilerinin ağız sağlığı üzerinde düşük bir etkisi olabileceğisonucuna varılabilir.Anahtar Kelimeler:Ağızsağlığı, protetik restorasyon, diş hekimliği öğrencileri
