N2  - The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of teaching staff and university students toward 6mountain sports. The study involved 1021 persons (374 women, 674 men, 182 teaching staff, 278 students ofsport school, 358 students of participated in elective physical education course, 203 students of jeology andmine department. Using a Likert type questionnaire for data collection. The test-retest was made for questionnairereliability. Intraclass correlation techniques was used for reliability analysis. Reliability coefficient values rangedfrom 0.52 to o.88. Mean and 2x4 Varians Analysis and Tukey tests were used data analysis. Ascending orderof perceived risk was high mountain climbing, rock climbing, tour skiing, snowboard, alp skiing and crosscountry skiing. Significant differences was found between some veriables by sex and professional job task(P < 0.05).
