Ages between 18 and 28, 135 femaleand 103 male student were participated this study. Attitudes Toward Women asManagers (ATWM) and Sex Role Stereotyping Scale (SRSS) (5) were administered toassess the determine the attitudes of PESDUS toward female sport managers andtheir patriarchy levels respectively. To analyze the data, independent t-test, correlation(Pearson Product Correlation Coefficient), and Multivariate Analysis of Variance(MANOVA) methods were applied. Results showed that male participants had morenegative attitudes toward female sport managers than that of femaleparticipants and male participants were more patriarchic than femaleparticipants. In addition, there was a negative moderate significantcorrelation between participants’ attitudes towards female sport managers andtheir patriarchy levels(r=-0.594, p<0.01).The findings of this study alsoindicated that there were significant differences between attitude towardfemale sport managers and patriarchy levels of participants in terms of gender[Wilks Lambda(Λ)=0.615, F(2, 235)=73.62, p<.01]. In other words, femaleparticipants had more positive attitudes toward female sport managers than thatof males and female participants were less patriarchic. The reverse is validfor male participants.
