Official web site of Olympic Games was used to collect data in this study. Results and analysis of total 106 match published in this site were evaluated. Total of 76 Female (mean age and height of them 25.59 ± 3.77 years, 168,30 ± 6.22 cm. respectively) and 86 male badminton players (mean age and height of them 26.24 ± 3.55 years, 179.13 ± 6.33 cm respectively) from 36 different countries were participated in this study. Descriptive statistical analysis of data (mean,standart deviation, minimum and maximum values, percentage distribution) were done by using SPSS 11,0 for Windows. As result; mean total match duration in singles and doubles categories for females 38.36 ± 15.43 dk, 51.09 ± 24.54 dk., for males 51.58 ± 19.43 dk, 46.67 ± 14.69 dk. respectively. This duration was 46.94 ± 22.62 dk. İn mix doubles matches. The longest rally mean duration of competitions were 27.17+ 5.50 sn. 29.95+6.38 sn. 43.62 ± 15.08 sn 24.40 ± 7.61sn. 22.08 ± 5.89 sn. in lady singles and men singles, Lady doubles and men doubles, and mix doubles respectively. Lady doubles have the longest mean rally strokes with 48.53 ± 15.55 strokes, It was followed by men singles (30.86± 5.87), men doubles (30.57 ± 9.24), mix doubles (27.62 ± 6.03) and lady singles (24.75 ± 4.37) respectively. </span> </span> </p> <p> </p>}, number={4}, publisher={Gazi University}
