N2  - The purpose of this study was find out the relationship between stressful life events and athleticinjuries occured practical sport sessions. A total of 80 P.E. students at the end of the 2. yearin P.E. department of Gazi University were completed the "Life Event Questionnaire" which wasadapted to Turkish people by sorias and total stress scores of then were calculated. In addition,sport injuries occured informer year were asked to participants. Subjects were categorised intogroups as students who have sport injuries (n-45, and have not sport injuries n = 35.) As a resultof this study; total stress scores of students who have sport injuries were significantly higherthan students who have not sport injuries (p < 0.01). In addition to many external and internalfactors causes to sport injuries, students who have experienced a high level of life change wereat a greater risk of sustaining acute injuries than are students who have experienced a lowamount of stresful life events.
