The sample of this study were held in participating 840 people of 2010 Group and Final contests, category of Youths and Adults which organized by Turkish Folk Dance Federation and National Ministry of Education. The scale used in research 7 sub-dimension gender of the participants according as statistically meaningful to test whether there is a difference data “Independent samples t-test” analysis of applied. Also ages of participants, education levels, residence units, educational level of parents, the start ages of folk dances, family to participate in folk dance activities in the state and family income levels according as oneway analysis of variance (ANOVA) was applied to test whether there is a meaningful difference. The effects of social integration in the folk dances “Within the scope of social integration” reviewed the scope of and in order of folk dances “National and cultural development”, “The Development of Binary Relations”, “Development of Social”, “Development of Group Relations”, “Emotional Development”, “Physical Development” and “Development of Personal Skills” in terms of individuals provided significant gains has been concluded. As a result of one-way analysis of variance applied to the research of gender and income level has family and social integration variables exhibited no significant variation in each sub-scale. The opinions expressed in participatory evaluation, age, levels in the education the living place and folk dancing with the starting time variables sizes subscales was also found that significant differences.
