is a water-soluble amino polysaccharide obtained after deacetylation of chitin,
which is most commonly found after cellulose in nature. Today, chitosan is used
in textiles, cosmetics, medical uses, agricultural fields etc. sectors have
found use. The evaluation of chitosan in various fields provides a great
benefit in terms of economic profit as well as environmental pollution and
natural cycle. With its chitosan structure, it has antibacterial, antifungal
effects, and there is no harm to human health or nature. In this study,
information about the characteristics of chitin and chitosan, the production of
chitosan, and finally the rinsing, fixed weighing and acetylation ratios of
