Bu çalışmada Silene compacta Fischer (SC)bitkisinin fenolik, yağ asidi ve uçucu yağ kompozisyonlarıile sitotoksik, antioksidan ve antikolinesteraz aktiviteleri,toplam fenolik ve flavonoid içerikleri çalışılmıştır. Uçucu yağve yağ asidi bileşenleri GC-MS cihazı ile belirlendi. Metanolekstresinin kimyasal bileşimi kalitatif ve kantitatif olarakLC-MS/MS cihazı ile belirlendi. Uçucu yağ ve yağ asidinin anabileşenleri sırasıyla α-selinen (%12.4) ve palmitik asit (%26.3)olarak belirlendi. Çalışılan dört antioksidan test yöntemlerindeaktif olan methanol ekstresi çok güçlü antikolinesteraz enziminhibisyon aktivitesi göstermiştir. Aynı zamanda methanolekstresinin A549 hücre serilerine karşı en yüksek sitotoksiketkiyi gösterdiği belirlenmiştir.
