N2  - This article is designed to make a review ofteaching methodology at primary level. The main purpose of this article is toindicate effectiveness of visual materials for teaching vocabulary at Primarylevel and to find out the problems faced by the teachers. A survey wasconducted and analyzed with the help of qualitative research. 200 primary level teachers were chosenfrom District Bahawalpur. A questionnaire was provided to take teachers’ viewsregarding the use of visual materials i.e. (pictures and charts) that providesthe teachers a full opportunity to rely on the application of direct method ofteaching. This article is a gate way for English Teachers in general and primaryteachers in particular to achieve their mainly focused goals and suggestionsfor the solution of problems faced by them and the taught. Researchers’conclusion with suggestions and recommendations was also summed up at the endof the study.
