N2  - The most important thing in learning arts is to understand the basicknowledge which usually it starts with the history of art. Art history plays animportant role in the development of art world. It explains how art worldevolves from renaissance to post-modern art and thousands of talented artistand artwork has been acknowledge decades ago. However, teaching art historycomes with a lot of effort. As a matter of fact, e-content in e-learningrequires creativity in teaching method, because when it comes to the nature ofart history subject, it is full of text, facts and boring images. Based on thisnotion, this study aimed to discover the needs of alternative e-content as partof art history teaching method in education nowadays. Furthermore the studytend to discuss the literature review which will be treated as an evidence toprove the impact of alternatives e-content application in art history subjectand how it influence worldwide educationsystem. This research will encourage educators to create an e-content ine-learning of art history subject which will be one of the alternative teachingmethods in teaching art history. This study will help a lot in terms ofenhancing the current teaching method.
