Araştırma Gazi Üniversitesi GaziEğitim Fakültesi Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi Ana Bilim Dalıbirinci sınıf öğrencilerinden oluşan 60 katılımcı ile Atatürk İlkeleri veİnkılap Tarihi II dersinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın modeli, son testkontrol gruplu deneysel desendir. Araştırmanın niteliklerine uygun olarakparametrik olmayan testlerden ki-kare kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularınagöre, çevrimiçi öğrenme ortamlarında öğrenim gören öğrencilerin cinsiyet vedenetim odaklarının işlemsel uzaklık algıları ile anlamlı bir ilişkisi olmadığıortaya çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak, çevrimiçi öğrenme ortamlarında öğrenim görenöğrencilerin cinsiyetleri ve denetim odaklarının işlemsel uzaklık algılarınabir etkisi bulunmamaktadır. CR - Armstrong, D. (2010).
