N2  - 2011- 2013 tarihleri arasında Manisa ve İzmir illerinden Pinus sp.ve Cornus sp. altından alınan toprak ve döküntü örneklerinden FavognathusLuxton, 1973’ın yeni bir türü olan Favognathus manisaensis sp. nov. dişive erkek bireyleri üzerinden tanımlanmış ve şekilleri çizilmiştir. Yeni tür,kendisine yakın olan Favognathus distortus (Kuznetsov, 1974 ve Favognathusbafranus Doğan, 2008 türleri ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Türkiye'den bilinen Favognathuscinsine ait türler için teşhis anahtarı düzenlenmiştir.
