Although several military units were sent to seize Beşar Çeto, it was not  </span> <span style="font-size: 14px;">possible to catch him. Beşar Çeto’s brother, Cemil Çeto, who became the leader of Pençinar tribe after  </span> <span style="font-size: 14px;">his brother’s death, inherited his brother’s legacy by sustaining illegal activities.  </span> <span style="font-size: 14px;">Cemil Çeto, who is also known with his insurgency during the War of Independence,  </span> <span style="font-size: 14px;">continued banditry throughout the World War I and the ceasefire period. </span> </p>}, number={31}, publisher={Istanbul University}
