Researches proved that teachers are an important factor in students’ success. Based on these research, Finland accomplished rooted changes in their education system and aims to prepare highly qualified teachers. They adopted a new educational system which is based on practice and which encourages students to take responsibility, have self-confidence. In this study, we present the obersvational notes taken by four teachers who visited Finland. The obtained data were compared with the current educational system in Turkey and evaluated. Teaching / learning have been practiced in four different learning environment in Finland. These are classrooms, workshops, labratories and out-of-schoo settings. "Real life goes beyond classroom walls. Classroom, workshop and laboratory provide a limited learning environment, while out-of-school environment offers many opportunities for students," says Finnish educators. </span> </p> <p> </p>}, number={1}
