The circumstances that maycause turbulent flow in the blood vessel model, developed in the agent basedsimulation environment, have been discussed in this study. Whether or not the flowin the blood vessel is turbulent is determined by the Reynolds’ number. The Reynolds’number is calculated based on the diameter of blood vessel, flow velocity inthe blood vessel, blood density and viscosity. The circumstances of turbulent flow that may occur based on the radiusand viscosity in a narrowed region of blood vessel are shown graphically through experimental studies.
