Le Corbusier foresaw that theproportional grid would become a universal norm within the construction praxis. Theproportional grid is based on a hypothetical male body framed with measures by the aid ofsuccessive squares and the golden section. The system as a biopolitical tool which combinesnumber mysticism, golden section, geometry and fibonacci sequence within a claim oftranscendence, is Western-oriented and static, and aims to harmonize and mutate its ownuniversalist ideal into a normative claim.
