This branch of sports, which is now called Polo, has beenplayed in various societies under the different names and different local rulessince the years before the birth of Christ. In history, many leaders haveplayed this sport fondly. Many leaders have built custom polo areas forthemselves The purpose of this sport was to improve warfare abilities ofsoldiers in the years before the birth of Christ. This study aims to reveal theorigin of Polo in which society first started by descending from its origins indifferent societies. In this study, a screening method was used. At the end ofthe work, it was understood that Turkish ancestors had a great influence on thedevelopment of Polo and its spread to the world.
