N2  - In this paper, I am classifyingempirical research work from 1974 to 1994dealing with the relationship between work ethic and religious background. The classification is based onthreee categories. In the first category, I am presentingempirical results which support that there is a significant and positive relationshipbetween religious background and work-oriented behaviours, andhence Weberian Protestant ethic is still alive. In the second category, I amshowing the opposite results of the first category. Finally,in the thirdcategory, I am introducing some results which are closely related to the topic.
