Individuals with specialneeds need to employ a sufficient number of teachers as well as the quality ofthe education provided to them in order to be able to truly benefit from theright to education. In particular, it is necessary to consider helping teacheremployment as a priority education policy so that teachers who work withinadequate students can effectively carryout the teaching activities in theclass and increase the quality of the education service to be offered to theseindividuals. There are nodefinitions of assistant teachers in the legal regulations in Turkey. It is amulti-faceted issue that needs to be discussed in order to train teachers inthe field of special education in Turkey and to employ enough teachers to workin this area. It is difficult to say that this problem is taken seriously inour country and that the necessary staff are planned and met realistically. Takinginto consideration the teacher training and employment policies in our country,it requires new political approaches and practices for training, selection, assignment, qualification of auxiliary teachers.
