Candidates forsupplementary pedagogical study have a deep knowledge of the main disciplinescontent of their branch. Candidates are therefore full- valued graduates oftechnical universities (having the title Master of Science-MSc), who havecompleted the second degree of university technical education. They aregraduates of the following faculties: Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of CivilEngineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Chemical and Foodtechnology, Faculty of Materials Science and Technology, Faculty of ElectricalEngineering and Information technology, Faculty of Informatics and Informationtechnologies. In the accredited model of supplementary pedagogical educationare dominant those studying subjects which are not part of study programs ofgraduates of technical universities and which are necessary forpedagogical-psychological and didactic erudition of teachers in teachingpractice. Graduate acquires the adequate teaching competencies – the ability todesign, implement, manage and organize the work in class and to create apositive climate, to diagnose students’ abilities. Graduate gains thepossibility to self-reflection, can participate in the elaboration ofeducational materials for teaching practice, is familiar with educationaltechnology and ICT development in the didactics in the relevant field. Graduateof supplementary pedagogical education is completely prepared and qualified toperform the teaching profession of technical subjects at secondary schools–ISCED 3 and 4.
